About Christopher M. Di Tecco R.Ac, R.TCMP

Chris Di Tecco

Christopher’s passion for Traditional Chinese Medicine [TCM] grew from his study of martial arts and T’ai Chi. It was a natural progression which led him to his apprenticeship at a local acupuncture clinic and eventually to formal instruction with Dr. David Lam.

Earning his B.A. from the University of Toronto in 1997, Chris later graduated from the Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Toronto with a diploma in Acupuncture and a diploma in Chinese Herbal Medicine.

Chris is a member of the Ontario Association of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (OAATCM). With extensive knowledge in the applications of acupuncture and herbal medicine Chris also has gained invaluable clinical experience at several TCM clinics in the greater Toronto area.

Chris has been practicing Chinese medicine since 2003 and has operated a practice in Streetsville (Mississauga) since 2006 and has since relocated to Clarkson. Chris’ practice focuses on the treatment of pain, women’s health (PMS, Menopause, pregnancy & labour), headaches, depression, stress and anxiety.

Chris had also been on the faculty at the Shiatsu School of Canada (SSC) in Toronto from 2009 until February 2015.
